With an unexpected passing, on July 7, 2023, at age 64, Mitch leaves behind the wife he loved, Elizabeth and the daughter he was devoted to, Johanna. Cherished by his mother-in-law Elizabeth Hauberger (Joseph predeceased), Son of Lucy and Frank (predeceased).

Mitch worked for McDonnell Douglas Canada and a fascination with aircrafts began. He later worked for Home Depot Canada filling his niche for his passion for woodworking, repairing and building. Which led to him building the family home almost solely. Give Mitch a project and he could fix anything for any friend or family. He also loved to cook. Enjoyed trying a new recipe or tweaking an old one. BBQ, Wok, fry pan or even a baking dish would not deter him. He even tried his hand at making Hungarian food (his adopted culture through marriage). A man of many talents will be truly missed by family near and far.
Thank you to the nurses and PSWs of 4 North at HSN. Your dedication and care were truly felt by Mitch and our family. Thank you to our numerous doctors but especially Dr. M. Carrier, Dr. R. Singh, Dr. L. Schonberger, Dr. D. Haaland (Barrie) and Dr. P. Christakis (Toronto).
As wished there will be no service. Lougheed's will provide cremation through Park Lawn Cemetery. For donations or messages of condolence, www.lougheedfuneralhomes.com.
