In Loving Memory Of Mary Elsie Elizabeth (Gabriel) Skinner 83 Years Peacefully Friday, June 4th, 2010 at Extendicare York surrounded by her loving daughters. Beloved wife of Norval predeceased. Loving and loved mother of Stephanie (Denis Pitt), Janet (Dave Van Dyke), Mary Jean, predeceased (Pete Julien) and Christine (Dan Lahaie). Cherished grandmother of Jen (Gino), Laura (Michael), Jason and Maggie (mother Mary to Justin). Beloved greatgrandma of Tiana, Alex, Audrey, and Benjamin. Dear daughter of Ottilia and Stephen Gabriel predeceased. Sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Jean, Noreen, Anne and 3 nephews. Sadly missed by her canine companion Kobe. Born in Springhill Nova Scotia, raised in Huntsville, Ontario and moved to Sudbury with her husband Norval in 1954. A woman of faith she was an active and founding member of Church of the Ascension. Longtime member of the choir and Ladies Auxillary. She volunteered at Extendicare Falconbridge for many years and will be lovingly remembered as an excellent cook and a skilled gardener and knitter.
