SMITH, Diane Elizabeth (nee Hawkins) - In Loving Memory of Diane Elizabeth Smith (nee Hawkins) 66 years after a long and courageous battle with cancer peacefully Thursday, morning September 13, 2012 at the Health Sciences North with her loving family at her side. Beloved wife of Gerald Smith. Loving mother of Nicole (husband Darren Foy). Cherished Nana of Laura. Dear daughter of Harry and Laura (Adams) Hawkins predeceased. Loving sister of Gary Hawkins (wife Connie). Special aunt to Jamie and Penny. Diane will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St., at Hazel St. Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 1 p.m. Cremation with interment in the Civic Cemetery.
