SMITH, Lloyd Edmund - In loving memory of Lloyd Edmund Smith, 89 years, on Monday, November 5th, 2012 at the Extendicare York, Sudbury. Beloved husband of Jessie Smith (nee Stewart) predeceased. Loving father of Elizabeth (predeceased), Glenn and Darlene both of Sudbury. Son of the late George and Etta (nee Stewart) Smith. Dear brother of Ronald (Mary) and Arvella (Dick Steele) and predeceased by Roy (Helen), Keith (Jane), Mervin (Phyllis), Graham, Thelma (late Dave Frost), Doreen (Jack Clarke), Annie Mae (late Clarence Moorehead) and Hattie (Joey Brown). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Lloyd came to Sudbury in 1952, he was a veteran and member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #76. He was a member of St. Andrew's United Church, was a master bowler and belonged to the Ottawa Valley Club. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury on Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel on Thursday at 10 am. Cremation with interment at the Civic Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Parkinson's or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
