SONIER, Elie - It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Friday, February 8th, 2013 at the age of 87 years. Son of the late Félix and of the late Octavie (née Rousselle) Sonier. Beloved husband of 64 years to Jeanne Alice (née Robichaud) Sonier of Sudbury.Loving father of Roger, Armand (Edith), Claudine Lavigne (Yvon), Claude (Louise) and Gilles (Nicole). Predeceased by his son Bonat.Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Charles, Alain, Jean- Sébastien, Sylvie, Mélissa, Stéphanie, Julie, Claudie and Pascale.Sadly missed by his great-grandchildren, Marc-Antoine, Isabelle, Josianne and Hensley. Dear brother of Levis (Anita),Delphis, Félix (Noëlla), Céline Doiron (late Claude) and Annette Sonier (Alonzo). Predeceased by his brother Charles (late Imelda) and by his sister Marguerite Duguay (late Fred). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Wednesday, February 13th, 2013 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 14th, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St-Jean de Brébeuf Church, Sudbury.
