STEER, Grace Ann (nee O'Leary) - In loving memory of Grace Ann Steer (nee O'Leary) on Saturday, December 17th, 2011 at the Maison Vale Hospice. Beloved wife of Alfred Steer predeceased. Loving mother of Wilfred (wife Liisa) of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Matthew. Predeceased by her parents Wilfred Henry and Pearl (McGee) O'Leary. Dear sister of Catherine (Jim Grant predeceased) of Zurich, Ont. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Grace was a registered nurse, an alumnus of the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing, Ottawa University School of Nursing and a post-graduate of St. Michael's as well as a member of the RNAO. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church CWL and enjoyed tennis, lawn bowling, badminton, quilting, golfing, crafts, knitting, cross stitching, sewing, travelling and gardening. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's church 39 Walford Rd., Sudbury on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 10 AM. Cremation with interment at the Sudbury R.C. Cemetery (Lasalle). Memorial donations to the Maison Vale Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
