STONE, Barbara Ann - In Loving Memory of Barbara Ann Stone (Quinlan) who passed away on Thursday March 7th, 2013 at Health Sciences North. Beloved partner of Douglas Thorn and the late Joe Simard. Loving mother of Tammi Holata (Stephen), Tracy (Mike) and John “Butchie“ (Kim). Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Mike Hull), Courtnie, Brittanie, Aymie, Zachary, Joshua, Jonathon, Isaac and Colby and great-grandmother of Jersey. Dear sister of Clark Quinlan (Susan), Everett “Junior“ Quinlan (Corrine), Jim Quinlan (Karen), Thea Gervais (Emile) and Lorna Serran (Rob). She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and many friends. Born in Shelburne County, Nova Scotia she was the daughter of the late Everett and Dorothea (Clark) Quinlan. Barbara retired in 2008 with 27 years of excellent service as a teller at the TD Bank in Garson. She enjoyed doing crafts and travelling whether it was out west with her 5th wheel or to her favourite spot in Texas. The focus of her life was her family especially her grandchildren, for whom she leaves a legacy of love and many wonderful memories. The “Queen“ of the family will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial visitation at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St. Sudbury on Sunday March 10th, 2013 from 3-4pm. A celebration of Barbara's life will follow in the RJ Barnard Chapel at 4pm. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.
