SUNDHOLM, Helen - Dearest Mom and Wife Helen Sundholm: Here it is 2 months before you would have physically turned 80 and we just had to write and let you know how much we miss you. We don't know how aware you were of the care you received at the St. Joseph's site of the Sudbury Regional Hospital, the 4th floor, but it was great. All the staff was so caring and compassionate, especially your nurses, Jenn and Diana, and we can't thank them enough. The Regimbal gang brought out to Eve's house enough food to feed an army and it was very much appreciated, as were other offerings of sympathy and food, flowers. The Celebration of Your Life was a party that you would have enjoyed, co- incidentally held exactly 4 months before your birthday, but we do believe that you were there in spirit. Emmanuel did a lovely job serenading us with his accordion and we thank him so much. You would have enjoyed it, what a talent for someone so young! The Seurakerhu were, as always, in fine voice, singing your favourite songs, and we wish to thank them as well. To all those who made donations to the Finlandia Koti and the Legion Poppy fund, and to those who attended, thank you! To Gerry Lougheed and his staff, thanks as well. Marilyn and the rest of the Lockerby Legion staff did an amazing job, the food was great, the refreshments flowed, and there are not enough words in the English language to express our gratitude for all that they did. They went above and beyond, and we will never forget them or the day! In closing, we love you and miss your physical presence, but your spirit will remain with us always. Love, Husband Bill Sundholm, Sons, Bruce and Tony, Daughters Evalin (Tom) Garber, and Cindi (Ford) Burton and their families.
