Sutinen, Kauko Martin
On February 21, 2023, Kauko Martin Sutinen, avid bird watcher and writer, of Sudbury,ON passed away in his 96th year. Son of the late Julia and Martti, brother Reino (Ray) and sister Helvi Lundgren (all pre-deceased). Pre-deceased by his wife Patricia (nee McEwen). Survived by his sons William (Lori) of Sudbury and Tom (Susan) of Lake Penage and daughter Jane (Perry Peltomaki) of Whitefish. Poppa to Ashleigh (Brian Ceaser), Bradley (Megan), Christopher, Sarah, Taylor (Shannon Pattison), Andrew, and Monika (Tyler Branch). Great Poppa Martin to Brady, Carleigh, Rory, Odin, and Aubree. Marty was a long time employee of Bell Canada, having worked for 37 years and enjoyed retirement longer than he worked. Patt and Marty were former owners of the Penage Marina for 14 years. They enjoyed many years on the lake with family and friends. The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to the multitude of support workers that helped over the years. We would like to thank the staff of Pioneer Manor (Lodge 2) for their care and patience during Marty’s stay. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted with Park Lawn Crematorium.
