SYLVESTER Elsie Maria - In Loving Memory of Elsie Maria Sylvester (nee Corelli). Elsa left this world November 26, 2012 to join the love of her life, Joseph, predeceased 2007. Elsa was the loving mother to Lynn Rose and cherished grandmother to Caroline. She was born in Copper Cliff on November 8th, 1919 to Virginio and Rosa (Palmaro) Corelli. Dear sister to Mary Martinuzzi (husband Emilio), Alfisio “Ritz” Corelli (wife Inez), Emilio “Shiner” Corelli (wife Aline) and Guerino “Dwyer” Corelli (wife Merilda) all predeceased. Special sister in law to Palmira Zanni (husband Anthony) both predeceased, Mary Sylvester, Bruno Sylvester (wife Lena predeceased), Adelaide D’Iholucky (husband Joseph) both predeceased, Ester Holowitz (husband Fred), John Sylvester predeceased (wife Evelyn) and Len Sylvester (wife Gina). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Elsie was given the gift of creativity and crocheted many pieces of fine art. She used this gift to serve the Lord crocheting Baptismal stoles for Our Lady of Hope Church. A woman of faith, she was a member of the parish CWL. The family expresses their appreciation to the 5th Floor South Tower Medical Staff at Health Sciences North for their exceptional care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Our Lady of Hope Memorial Fund or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Sudbury. (Friends may call 2-4; 7-9pm Wednesday with parish prayers at 3pm). Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Hope Church, 591 Brennan Rd., Sudbury Thursday, November 29th, 2012 at 10am. Cremation with interment in the family plot at the Park Lawn Cemetery.
