SYRNYK, Myroslaw (Morris) - In Loving Memory of Myroslaw “Morris“ Syrnyk, 75 years, Tuesday, July 31st, 2012 at his residence, Sudbury. Beloved husband of Matilda “Tillie“ (nee Hrynkiw) Syrnyk predeceased October 13th, 1992. Loving father of Brenda (husband Mohamed Zohdy) of Sudbury and Karen (husband Chris Princivero) of Georgetown. Cherished grandfather of Tarik Zohdy. Predeceased by his parents Hielko and Mary (nee Magis) Syrnyk. Dear brother of Sophie Bogoslowski of Dauphin, Manitoba, Walter of Vancouver B.C. and predeceased by Peter, Mike and his wife Rosetta, Julian, Lena and Ann and her husband Matteo. Morris was born in Mink Creek, Manitoba. He married Tillie in Dauphin in 1963. In Sudbury since 1970, he worked for Inco Ltd., retiring in 1992. A member of St Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, he also enjoyed fishing, golfing and carpentry. He will always be remembered for his kindness and for his devotion towards his wife and daughters. Morris enjoyed Tarik's company and always played the role of proud grandfather. He leaves a rich legacy of love, faith and devotion and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral Mass in St Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 40 Notre Dame Ave. Sudbury, Friday, August 3rd, 2012 at 11:00 am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations in memory of Morris to the Heart and Stoke Foundation or to the Arthritis Association would be appreciated. (Friends may gather at the church after 10:45 am Friday).
