SZWEC, Jenny - Peacefully at Health Sciences North, Sudbury on Tuesday May 22, 2012 in her 83rd year. Wife of the late Ted Szwec. Dear sister of John Christoff of Gatineau, QC, Carol Waselovich of St. Catharines, and Helen Zidichouski of Clearwater, Florida. Predeceased by her sisters Doris Sapkos, Tillie Cooke, Millie Chernoski, Mary Pooke and brother Fred Christoff. Daughter of the late Anne Christoff (Kutyn) of Ukraine and Ben Christoff, Bulgaria. Jenny will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and dear friends in Sudbury. Family will receive friends on Thursday May 24, 2012, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent Street, Sudbury. Panakhyda at 7:30 p.m. and at McEvoy Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa on Friday May 25, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Shrine 952 Green Valley Cres., Ottawa on Saturday May 26, 2012 at 9 a.m. Interment in the Notre Dame Cemetery, Ottawa. Donations to St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Sudbury, or Saint John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Shrine, Ottawa, would be greatly appreciated.
