TAPPER, Gerald Oscar “Gerry“ - In loving memory of Gerald Oscar “Gerry“ Tapper May 1942-March 2013 who passed away surrounded by his loving family after a very short illness on Sunday, March 31st, 2013 at the Maison Vale Hospice. Predeceased by his parents Oscar and Ina Tapper. Beloved husband of Myrna of Worthington. Loving father of Tracey of Ottawa and Jake wife Neha of Sudbury. Dear brother-in-law of John and Ellen Marshall. Adored uncle to Jenn and Bob Greeson (Indy, Max, and Cassie), Dave and Ang Marshall (Isabelle and Kaleigh), Ian Marshall, Deb and Ryan Gilchrist and Amanda Marshall. Gerry received his education in Florida (BA), Tennessee (MA) and California (PhD). He is a retired Professor Emeritus from the Geography Department at Laurentian University. Also a long time member of the Lion's Club. Gerry will be lovingly remembered by his many friends as a true Renaissance Man. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Peter's United Church on Saturday, April 13th, 2013 at 1pm with reception to follow. Friends may gather at the church after 12noon.
