TAYLOR, Dennis “The Mate“ - In loving memory of Dennis “The Mate“ Taylor, 71 years, who passed away Wednesday, September 9th, 2009 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Born in Ashton-Under-Lyne, England, he married Marjorie in Manchester in 1960. He was a millwright at INCO for 30 years, retiring in 2000. He will be missed by his pals at the Tim Hortons and his friends at Section 6 at the Sudbury Wolves games. He loved to golf and any skill he was lacking was more than made up for with passion. He enjoyed snowmachining and spending winters in Arizona. Dennis was very proud of his garden and “perfect“ lawn. Everything had to be right, from his van to all of his possessions he was committed to excel and make them the best. He will be lovingly remembered as a well-liked and respected man who was devoted to his family and always had beautiful “perfect“ hair. Beloved husband of Marjorie (Wathey) Taylor of Val Caron. Loving father of David (Chantal) of Hanmer and Karon (Bruce Karwaski) of Garson. Cherished “Dasa“ of Clinton, Alyssa, Dylanne, Jesse and Danielle. Dear son of Eric and Lily Taylor both predeceased. Dear brother of Ronald (Sally predeceased) (friend Sue) of England. Dear brother in law of Denise (Richard Weeks), Keith (Evelyn) and Stan (Pat) all of England. Dear uncle of Lorraine (Gary), Gavin, Rebecca, Charlotte, Karleen, Stephen, Tania, Sherry-Lynn and many great nieces and nephews. Special friend of Nonie (Keith Ferneyhough and Laurie, Linda and Lisa), and Nicole (Richard Duguay). Dennis will be sadly missed by many special friends, and you know who you are. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, Val Caron/Blezard Valley Chapel, Main St., Val Caron Monday, September 14th, 2009 at 1 p.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium. Donations to Cancer Centre would be appreciated. (Friends may call 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m Sunday or after 12 noon Monday).
