In Loving Memory of Gregorio “Orfeo” Tessarolo, 92 years, peacefully on April 9th, 2024, at Finlandia Village.
Beloved husband of Giuliana predeceased 2021. Loving Father of David, Diane (Ken Bona) and Chris (Renee). Cherished Nonno of Meagan, Jessica, Kayla, Nicholas, Dylan, Myah, and Matthew. Dear son of Antonio and Maria Tessarolo. Dear brother of Bepi, Tony, Giuseppina, Pia, Anna, Bruna, Clara, Albino and Arnaldo (all predeceased). Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Italy, Orfeo came to Sudbury in 1959. He was a skilled tailor; proud owner of “Orfeo’s Alterations” and a tailor for Sears. He was a lifetime member of the Caruso Club and spent many years bartending there. Orfeo was an avid gardener, known for his gigantic tomatoes. He enjoyed long evening walks and was a devoted soccer fan. Orfeo was recognized by many friends no matter where he went and always had a friendly smile and humorous comments. He was devoted to his family and will be sadly missed.
