TESSIER, Aurele - In loving memory of Aurele Tessier age 69 years who passed away Sunday, June 6th, 2010 at the Maison Vale Inco Hospice. Beloved husband of Jeanne (nee Thanase) Tessier predeceased and Darlene (nee Dupret) Tessier of Verner. Loving father of Joanne (husband Thomas Steep) of Perth, Michel (wife Sonya) of North Bay. Cherished grandfather of Robert Steep and Molly Steep. Dear son of Ludger predeceased and Cecile (nee Lalonde) Tessier of Sudbury. Dear brother of Maurice predeceased (wife Joanne of Alberta), Diane (husband Walter Dmyterko) of Manitoba, Janet (husband Roland Forget) of Coniston, Pauline Nadeau predeceased (husband Gerald of Alban) and Madeleine (partner Pete Muise) of Coniston. He will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Aurele commenced his career as a X-Ray technologist in California having completed his studies in Sudbury. He moved to Sturgeon Falls in 1968 where he ran the radiology department and later developed and managed the Mammography and Ultrasound services retiring in 1996 with 28 years service. Aurele was a former member of the Sturgeon Falls Kiwanis Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball, hockey and travelling. Aurele will be remembered as a kind and generous person whose love and smile inspired and encouraged all who knew him. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Thursday, June 10th, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
