TESSIER, Roger - In loving memory of Roger Tessier of Azilda. The family of Roger, 79 years, express their deep sadness in announcing the death of their dad at St. Gabriel Villa on Saturday, January 19th, 2013. Surrounded by those who loved him, Roger fought courageously right until the end. Roger leaves behind a strong legacy in his children and grandchildren. Proud father of Diane Gosselin (Yvan) of Chelmsford and Carole Gallo (Rob) of Sudbury. Predeceased by the mother of his children Anita (Chrétien) (2009). Cherished Pépère of Eric (Alexandra Holmes) and Corey (Krystin Kainola) Gosselin and Kayla, Megan, Zachary and Riley (predeceased 2002) Gallo. He will now be reunited with our Riley. Predeceased by his parents Victor and Leonore Tessier. Loving brother of Aurèle (Betty) of Caledonia, Gerald (Claire) of Hamilton. Predeceased by Hector, Raymond, Simone Sammon, Alcide (Thérèse), Fernand, Emile, Aurore. He will also be sadly missed by his in-laws, Robert Chrétien (Vivian) of Garson, Raymond Chrétien (Anita) and Gerald Chrétien (Elva) of Hanmer, Roger (Thérèse), Johnny (Georgette), Betty (Rod Furchner) all of Sudbury. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Dad will be remembered for his green thumb which produced bountiful vegetables and beautiful flowers. Even though Dad's stay at St. Gabe's was brief, the compassion and professionalism of the staff was exceptional. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Riley Gallo Memorial Trust Fund or St. Gabriel's Villa (St. Joseph's Foundation) would be appreciated. Funeral Prayers in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Wednesday, January 23rd, 2013 at 10am. Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery.
