In loving memory of Brigitte Thompson (nee Cunningham) who passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the Ottawa Heart Institute at the age of 66.
Beloved wife of Morris Thompson for 43 years. Loving mother of Mitch Thompson (Heather Winter). Dear daughter of Roger and Meta Cunningham both predeceased. Dear sister of Dieter Cunningham (Roberte). Dear aunt of Craig Cunningham (Amanda) and great aunt of Allison, Kris, and Emmalyn. Brigitte enjoyed pyrography (woodburning), rug hooking and water painting.
She was a retired police officer with the Greater Sudbury Police Department, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 76 and the Senior’s Wood Shop. She was a very outgoing, loving person who enjoyed fostering dogs and visiting with family and friends. As per her wishes, there will be no funeral visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, donations to Health Sciences North Foundation – Cardiac Unit would be appreciated.
