THOMPSON, Constance Estelle (Connie) (nee Blackwell) - In loving memory of Constance Estelle “Connie“ Thompson (nee Blackwell). Her family announces with sorrow her passing on Thursday, March 31st, 2011 at the Maison Vale Inco Hospice. Beloved wife of Gregory Thompson of Lively. Loving mother of Kimberly (Toshi Suzuki), Tracy (John Makela) and Scott (Lindsay Milligan). Cherished grandmother of Ashton, John, Hana, Maija and Nika. Dear daughter of the late Albert and Noella Blackwell. Loving sister of Marcella (Abel Gallo), Don (Joan), Jack (Susan), Gordon (Brenda), Mary (Nello Ronchin) and Chris (Cheryl). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A devout Roman Catholic, Connie was actively involved in the Christ the King Prayer Group as well as St. Pius X choir. Connie enjoyed spending her summers with her family and close friends at Stanley Park in Mindemoya, she also enjoyed deer hunting on her Manitoulin Island property. Always wearing her apron, Connie loved to bake and will forever be known for her mouthwatering perogies and cheesecake. Connie's sense of humour as well as he unique and contagious laughter have left her loved ones with many fond memories. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St., at Hazel St., Sudbury. Funeral mass in St. Pius X Church, Lively, Monday, April 4th, 2011 at 10 A.M. Cremation with interment in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Parish prayers 4 P.M. Sunday. In lieu of flowers donations to the Maison Vale Inco Hospice would be appreciated. (Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M.
