It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved Gary Tims, 59 years on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Health Sciences North.
Dear son of Gary Sr. and Florence Tims both predeceased. Loving spouse of Dawn Lacelle of Sudbury. Cherished stepfather to Natasha, Neil (predeceased), and Cynthia (Jake). Dearly loved brother of Cathie Campbell (Jim), Cindy Miske, Cheryl Pearson (Jason), and Mark Tims. Fondly remembered by his grandkids as Papa G. Proud uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Gary was born on July 10, 1964 in Toronto, ON. He began the first 10 years of his career at Simcoe Block, then moved to Sudbury, ON to work at Brown’s Concrete for almost 25 years. He took great pride in his work as a Foreman / Manager at Brown’s. Some of his greatest joys in life came from spending quality time with family and friends, with his Camaro (Lambomaro), his love of all things Harley Davidson, as well as many other hobbies.
A Celebration of Gary’s Life will be held at a later date.
