TRAHAN, Annette Marguerite Marie - November 7, 1931 - May 1, 2013 - Annette Trahan passed away in the early morning of May 1st 2013, after a lengthy battle with heart disease. She was the beloved mother of Jacqueline Girouard (deceased), Pierre Girouard (Catherine), Paul Girouard (Sandi), Natalie Morrison (Randy), Nicole Binsted, John Girouard (Tanya) and Joseph Girouard. Annette was predeceased by siblings Roger Trahan, Adeline Dubois, Louis Trahan, Helene Poliquin, and survived by siblings Yvonne Dubois, Aurore Trahan, Andre Trahan, Claire Trahan, Cecile Laporte, Lila Cyr, Collette Labbe and Michel Trahan. She will be greatly missed by grandchildren Melanie, Sam, Kerrie, Adam, Nicholas, Eli, Isaac and Grant; great grand- children Megan, Jacob, Ava Rose and Austin. She will also be missed by her extended family and wonderful circle of friends, such as Anita and Dennis Leclair, Lil Richards, Fred and Deana Hanson, who were always there for her. Annette was born in Copper Cliff, Ontario. She was third child of Roger and Yvonne Trahan. After raising her seven children, she returned to school and completed Teacher's college. In 1970 Annette taught at Dowling Separate School for a couple of years, then work as receptionist for the Sudbury Board of Education, until her illness. Annette was happy to serve in the Catholic Women's League at Our Lady of Hope Parish. Annette was vibrant. She loved to travel. She was compassionate and loved helping those in need around her. She was industrious, a great problem solver, often creating her own gadgets. The Funeral will be held Monday, May 6th, 11 am, at Our Lady of Hope, 591 Brennan Rd, Sudbury (705) 673-1774.
