TREMBLAY, Mildred - In loving memory of Mildred Tremblay (nee Dashney), days away from her 80th birthday, passed away Monday, January 28th, 2013 after a brief illness, at Health Sciences North. Born in Sudbury February 3rd, 1933 to Wilbert and Cecile (nee Paquette) Dashney, (predeceased) and sister to Osborn (predeceased). Dear sister in law of Wilfred Tremblay (wife Shirley). Married to Albert Tremblay in Chelmsford, September 25th, 1954 (predeceased 1998). Loving mother of Michael (Montreal), Francine (Toronto), Micheline (John Kociolek, Spring Bay), Daniel (Lynne Castonguay, Espanola). Nana to Aaron (Allyson) and Amy Kociolek, Joel and Nicolas Tremblay, and soon to be great grandmother to Adam Kociolek. Mildred was an ambitious and dedicated person who loved people. She spent many years in sales, teaching cooking classes, owner and operator of their hobby farm, volunteering and generously donating her time as a member of O.A. Mildred, a faithful Christian, practiced to the best of her ability unconditional love, to her cherished family and many friends. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9pm Thursday with parish prayers 7:30pm). Funeral Mass in St. Patrick's Church 39 Walford Rd., Sudbury Friday, February 1st, 2013 at 10am. Interment in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations to Birthright, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
