TURGEON, Omer - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Sunday, November 13, 2011 at the age of 93 years. Son of the late Amédée and the late Rose Anna (née Langlade) Turgeon. Dear brother of Maria Hope (late Ted) of Peterborough and Alphonse (Jeanne) of Chelmsford. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters: Roland (late Blanche), Philias (late Lucienne), Ovila (late Germaine), Cédulie “Sadie“ Robillard (late Rosario), Thomas (late Florence), Marguerite Boyer (late David), Laurette Wilson (late Lou), Aldéa Pulano (late Dominic “Babe“) and Edmond. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Omer was a former member of the “Club senior du Moulin-à-Fleurs“, National Campers and Hikers Association and Nickel Capital Campers. He also enjoyed bowling and hunting. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUENRAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre- Dame), Sudbury, Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in St-Dominique Church, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to the Lung Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be greatly appreciated.
