URYSZ, Richard

URYSZ, Richard Joseph - November 11, 1948 - March 24, 2013 - Born in Krakow, Poland. Moved to Sudbury, Ontario at the age of 14 where he worked at INCO after high school and later moved to Calgary, Alberta in 1983. Richard then moved to Victoria, British Columbia. Richard was a beloved son who will be sadly missed and celebrated for his beautiful life by his mom Kazmiera Dodkiewicz. Sister Helen Dodkiewicz, brother Tony Dodkiewicz, daughters Kimberly Urysz-Valade (Paul Howitt) and Pamela Mae (Duncan Stamper), Brenda Roberts, son Stephen Urysz, Mary McGregor-Urysz, grandsons Matthew and Joshua Valade, Carter Bye, granddaughter Brooklyn Bye, aunt Janine Wasiolek, cousin Adam Wasiolek, sister-in-law Mary Heidman-Urysz, nieces Ally Dodkiewicz, Corrie Poulin and family, Marnie Savage and family, Joanne Savage and family. Richard was a member of the Lyons Club and had an interest in dance, where everyone will miss his presence. Richard's close friends Jon Valade and Bill Bye will miss this amazing and creative man who loved guitars, photography, painting, graphic design, music, Harley Davidsons and his love birds. A small celebration of life will be held for family and close friends.
