VAILLANCOURT, Gabrielle (née Rioux) - It is with profound sorrow and enormous regret that the family announces the peaceful passing of our mom Gabrielle Monday, February 14, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Daughter of the late Arthur and Béatrice (née Dumais) Rioux. Predeceased by her loving husband of 42 years, Edouard Vaillancourt and her good friend Léo Lataille. Mourned by her daughter Monique (Raymond Rodrigue) and her sons Donald (Marlene), Rhéal (Diane), André and Danny (Diane). Sadly missed by her precious grandchildren Alain (Julie), Roch (Angie), Jimmy, Danica, Devin (Sarah), Tod (Denise), Tim (Jessie), Joël (Erica), Marc and her great-grandchildren Cory, Scott, Trent, Kaden, Megan and Kaylee. Special “grand-maman Gaby“ to Chloé. Dear sister of Martha (late Gérard Séguin) and Hortense (late Wilfrid Lalonde). Predeceased by her sister Anita (Rolland Lebel) and her brother Donald Rioux (Eyelyne). Special thanks to the Sudbury Regional Hospital 5th floor staff for all their wonderful care, especially our angel Trina. Dr. Puranam, you are truly the most compassionate of physicians. Thank you. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, R R 15, Chelmsford, Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in St- Joseph Church, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St-Joseph Church Renovations would be greatly appreciated.
