VALENTINI, Evelyn (née Montesi) - In loving memory Of Evelyn (née Montesi) Valentini, 84 years. Peacefully, Sunday, July 25th, 2010 at the Maison Vale INCO Hospice with her loving children at her side. Beloved wife of Attilio “Joe“ Valentini predeceased 1986. Loving mother of Vickie- Lynn Valentini and Peter Joseph Valentini (companion Lee-Ann Bortolotti). Cherished Nonni of Stephanie and Jeffrey Valentini. Dear daughter of Giuseppe “Pino“ and Lodovina Montesi predeceased. Dear sister of Edna Signoretti (husband Tom) both predeceased, Lorraine Zanatta (husband Frank) of Copper Cliff, and Junior Montesi (wife Germaine) of Azilda. Sadly missed by loving nieces, nephews and her canine buddy Oliver. Born and raised in Copper Cliff, Evelyn married Attilio “Joe“ in 1948. A longtime and valued employee of Cochrane Dunlop, she was a life member of the Copper Cliff Italian Club. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church and parish CWL. She was a keen golfer and excellent cook, who was happiest hosting family and friends for dinner. She spent many happy days at the family camp at White Water Lake. Evelyn will be remembered for her inspired work ethic and devotion to her loving family. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Funeral Mass in St. Stanislaus Church, Copper Cliff, Ontario, Wednesday, July 28th, 2010 at 10am. Interment in the family plot at the St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Prayers 3pm Tuesday. Donations to the Maison Vale INCO Hospice would be appreciated. Friends may call 2-5; 7-9pm Tuesday.
