In Loving Memory of Jacob “Jake” Van Embden 88 years Passed away peacefully at Extendicare York on Sunday, May 14th, 2017 Reunited with his beloved wife of 63 years Jean (nee Nault) predeceased in 2014. Loving father of Gary (Ruth), Bob (Karen), Billy (predeceased), Lyle, George and Kim Saulnier (Mark). Cherished Grandpa of his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Willimina and his brothers Henry & Reinder. Survived by his sister Willie Sutherland. At Jake’s request there will be no visitation or service. He will be cremated and buried alongside his wife at the Park Lawn Cemetery. Donations to Muscular Dystrophy Association would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
