In Loving Memory of Reinder Van Embden 87 years Monday, March 17, 2014 at the Pioneer Manor has gone to Heaven to fish with his special nephew Billy. Beloved son of Henery and Willamena Van Embden both predeceased. Loving brother of Hank Van Embden predeceased, Jack (wife Jean) Van Embden. Lovingly remembered by many nephews and his precious niece Kim. Predeceased by his dear friend Nora Whissell. Sadly missed by his canine friend Baily. Reinder was an accomplished and skilled carpenter for many years. He was a strong supporter of the NDP and an active volunteer setting signs and making donations. He loved to fish and spent a great many hours in his garden. At Reinder’s request there will be no funeral visitation or service. Cremation with interment in the family plot at Parklawn cemetery. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Donations to the Muscular Dystrophy would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Lougheed Funeral Home.
