VanderStoel, Heather E - In loving memory of Heather E. VanderStoel who passed away Wednesday, April 6th, 2011 after a forty year plus battle against M.S. She was predeceased by her parents Helen and Roy Cann and will always be remembered by her husband, the Rev. Nico VanderStoel for her kindness, love and very positive outlook on life in spite of the way M.S. slowed down her life. She received her M.A. from the University of Manitoba. Heather taught for 21 yrs. in the Seven Oaks School Division in Winnipeg before moving to Ontario with her husband. She had to end her teaching career much to her regret due to her illness. A memorial service will be held for Heather at St. Stephen's on the Hill United Church, Sudbury on Saturday, April 9th at 11am with a reception to follow. Family and friends are asked to visit during the reception. Donations in Heather's memory can be made to the “Can You Hear Me“ fund of St. Stephen's on the Hill United Church; 1248 Lauzon Ave., Sudbury, P3A 3E1 which would be appreciated.
