VAREY, Vera May “Wendy“ (nee Wendler) - In Loving Memory of Vera May “Wendy“ Varey (nee Wendler) 68 years. Wendy passed away suddenly on Tuesday January 8th, 2013 at Health Sciences North, her loving family by her side. Wendy was born December 13th, 1944 in Lockerby; along with her twin sister Joyce Perry. Wendy was the daughter of Bruno and Linda (nee Brode) Wendler (both predeceased); the wife of Jim Varey (predeceased), mother of Jamie and Robert and loved grandmother of Brandon. Will be greatly missed by her brother Jim Wendler (Marion) and sister Dorrie Deagle (Alvin), twin sister Joyce Perry (Donald predeceased) and Judy Roy (Roger predeceased). Predeceased by her sister Jean Herrmann (Kurt predeceased). Sadly missed by cousins Arthur Brode (Ruth) and Harry Brode. Beloved aunt to Linda, Darlene and Alvin Deagle, Colleen, Roderick, Danny and Laurie Wendler, Linda and Gus Herrmann, Louisa Roy, Ann Marie, Michael and April Perry. Best friend of Madelaine Leduc and walking companion Heidi Sten. Dear aunt to Bill and Carol Varey and their family. Also missed by Dave Holinshead and his extended family. Wendy was retired from the Sudbury Board of Education. At Wendy's request there will be no visitation or service. Thank you to Dr. Singh and all the wonderful staff at Health Sciences North.
