VERDECCHIA, Gordon - Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital Plummer Site on Monday, August 16, 2010 after a long and courageous battle. Predeceased by his wife Carole Verdecchia (nee McCarnen) and his parents Dante and Jenny Verdecchia. Dear father of Melinda Boston (Randy) and Kathryn Luck (Mike). Loving grandfather of Matthew, Kathleen and Jeffrey. Brother of Joan Carpenter of British Columbia and Edward Verdecchia. Special friend of Linda Dodds. Gordon will be fondly remembered by his coworkers at Ironworkers Union Local 786. At Gordy""s request there will be no funeral service.
