VILLENEUVE, Philorum “Phil“ - The family announces with sorrow his passing in Sudbury on Sunday, February 24th, 2013 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of 65 years to Aurore (née Racine) Villeneuve of Sudbury. Son of the late Euclide and the late Liane (née Danis) Villeneuve. Loving father of Ivan (Susan), Gaston (Lorraine) and Roger (Debbie) all of Wahnapitae, Joseph “Joe“ (Joan), Suzanne Douglas (Jack) and Rita Villeneuve all of Sudbury, Colette Labre (Brian) of Capreol and Denise Vallée (Alain) of Balmertown. Dear brother of Emelda Touchette, Thérèse Doucette, Marcien, Raymond, Georges and Louise McLean. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Mabel Maisonneuve, Réjeant, Gabriel, Simone Audette, Jean Guy and Raoul. Sadly missed by 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was a WWII veteran having served in France, Italy and England. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, on Thursday, February 28th, 2013 from 2:30 p.m - 4:30 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 4:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
