VOJTESEK, Frank - In Loving Memory of Frank Vojtesek 71 years of age who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at his residence. Beloved husband of Micheline (nee Renaud). Loving father of Stanley (Lise), Lucy, Frankie (Wanda) and Peter (Andrea). Cherished grandfather of Amanda, Jeremy, Frankie Jr., Darlene, Christine, Katie, Faith, Joshua and Bailey; and great grandfather of Vanessa. Dear step father of Jeannine Scagnetti (Peter), Jacqueline Lafleur (Mike Swanson) and Jim Lafleur (Kim); step grandfather of Katarina, Victoria, Megan and Jean-Paul. Predeceased by his parents and twin sister. Frank will always be remembered by extended family and friends. Frank was 18 years old when he arrived in Canada from Sprague, Czechoslovakia in 1957. He was a miner at Timmins Falconbridge Mine and at Strathcona Mine in Levack. Frank was a real outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening and did a lot of blueberry picking. He could create masterpieces from scraps of wood and metal. Scratch tickets were also a hobby of Frank's. He was a quiet man who always provided for his family and thought highly of others. Memorial Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME Regent St. at Hazel St. Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Elgin St. Mission would be greatly appreciated. (Friends may call at the funeral home after 11:15 am on Saturday.)
