WABEGIJIG, Patrick Keith - In loving memory of Patrick Keith Wabegijig, 64 years, who passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, May 25, 2012 at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto. Patrick joins his loving father and mother - Patrick Joseph and Cecilia (Naponse) Wabegijig, his dear brothers Arnold, Marvin, Garry, Russell and Douglas, in the spirit world. Beloved brother to his sisters - Carol Nadjiwon (Rolland) and Sandra Wabegijig (Richard Cywink). Patrick has many cousins, nieces, nephews and grandchildren who were very close to him and shared many beautiful memories together, especially Bridget, Sherry and their families. He also had many close and treasured friends across Canada but more recently from Sault Ste Marie and Toronto. Patrick worked for several years in the areas of social services and education and was an accomplished artist and studied at the Ontario College of Art after completing his BA at Algoma University. He loved music, world philosophies, sports, photography, and the traditional spiritual teachings of elders. He was witty and humorous, and a very kind, gentle and loving person. Patrick will never be forgotten and will remain in all our hearts forever. He was a member of the Wikwemikong First Nation and from the Odawa and Ojibway Nation. Resting at St. Ignatius Church Buzwah. Funeral Mass at Holy Cross Mission, Wikwemikong on Thursday, May, 31st, 2012, 11:00am. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium (Friends may gather after 2p.m. Tuesday). Arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
