WADDELL, William Donald Nelson McKessock - In Loving Memory of William Donald Neslon McKessock Waddell who passed away in his home in Sudbury at the age of 66 on February 24th 2011.  Proud father of Jody (Crystal Sabel), Dean  ( Sheri McWade) and Brendan.  Born to William Donald Nelson McKessock ( Predeceased 1944) and Ellen Josephine Caswell McKessock Waddell( Predeceased 1985).  Lovingly raised by Ellen and  Gervis William Waddell (predeceased 2007).  Brother to Robert ( Bonita Groulx), Reg ( Diane ), Judy (Gordon Angeloff ) and James.  Fortunate Uncle to Seventeen nieces and nephews.  Father to Pippin ( dog) and Grandfather to Ziggy and Maverick (grand puppies).  Don was an avid outdoors-man, passionate about healthy lifestyle and a staple of the community.  He played a pivotal role in the development of many healthy living endeavors while working for the City of Sudbury.   He continued his mentor-ship with the YMCA and John Island Camp for many years and has supported Laurentian Nordic in its recent activities. Don was known for his visionary dreams of improving the recreational landscape of the community.  Resting at Jackson and Bernard Funeral Home on 233 Larch St., Sudbury.ON  Visitations on Wednesday, March 2nd,2011 from 2-5 pm and 7-9pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the YMCA John Island Camp Capital Campaign would be appreciated. Memorial service at St. Peter's Church, York St., Sudbury,ON, Thursday March 3, 2011, 11:00 AM.  He was loved by many.
