WAKEGIJIG, James Joseph Terrance - In loving memory of James Joseph Terrance Wakegijig, 62 years, who passed away on Thursday, September 30th, 2010. Beloved husband of Nora (King). Loving father of Ramona Shawana (Ed), Brad Wakegijig (friend Sherry), Bryan Wakegijig (friend Lindsay) and Rona George. Cherished grandfather of Dalton, Shanelle, Jaden, Brooke, Bridgitte, Alyssa and Anthony. Brother of Ron Wakegijig (Rosemary), Anita Peltier (Thomas predeceased), Henry James Shawanda (friend Gloria) and Rose Antoinette (predeceased). Predeceased by parents John and Agnes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a godfather of five. Jim worked as a First Nations Constable for the Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service for 33 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, and was passionate about hunting, playing music and photography. Upon his retirement on June 30th, 2010 he spent his time working on his hunt camp, playing guitar, visiting family and friends and enjoying life. Jim was a man of few words, but had a great sense of humour, positive outlook on life, and was known for treating everyone with respect. He will be greatly missed. Resting at Holy Cross Mission, Wikwemikong, where friends may call after 2pm Thursday. Funeral Mass at Holy Cross Mission, Wikwemikong, Saturday, October 16th, 2010 at 11am.
