WALLI, Selmi - It is with great sorrow that the family announces his death in Sudbury on Monday, May 28, 2012 at the age of 80 years. Son of the late George Walli and the late Tyyne (née Vahamaki) Walli. Beloved husband of 56 years to Janette (née Beaudry) Walli. Loving father to Joyce Walli (Charlie) and Brenda Barwell (Robert). Dear brother of Arvo (Doris) and George (Rhonda). Predeceased by Urho, Lillian, Vilho (Wilma) and Einar (Lois) as well as father-in-law Tom Beaudry and Roger Beaudry. Remembered by his brother-in-law Ray Beaudry and sister-in-law Vi Constantineau. Will be missed by his grandchildren Brian (Ruth), Troy (Brandy), Natasha (Mike), Lyndsay (Ian), Shannon and great-grandchildren Robert, Ryan, Jillian, Nicolas, Ava and Carter. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was a well respected and talented Chartered Accountant. Selmi was happiest in nature with friends and family, skiing, fishing, hunting and snowmobiling. He especially enjoyed time at Onaping Camp, the trailer at White Fawn Lake in North Bay and listening to old fashioned country and western and bluegrass music at River Valley jamborees with his wife. At Selmi's request there will be no visitations. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 9, 2012 between 1-5 p.m. at the Delki Dozzi Hall, 3 Mary St., Sudbury (Gatchell area). Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Cooperative Funeral Home, Chelmsford. Donations (by cheque only) to the Diabetes Association.
