In Loving Memory of Joan Lorraine (née Poulton) Waters 91 Years. Passed away peacefully Saturday, April 6th, 2024, at Extendicare Countryside with loving family at her side.
Beloved wife of John Waters, predeceased 2013. Loving mother of Greg (wife Cindy), Cathy (wife Karen). Cherished grandmother of Laura, John, Trevor, Erin, and Kristen. Treasured great grand mother of Addeline and Charlotte. Dear daughter of Albert and Laura (Suckow) Poulton, predeceased. Dear sister of Robert (wife Margaret) and predeceased by Geraldine, Ronald and Rita. Sadly missed by many loving nieces and nephews.
Joan was an avid gardener whose green thumb produced beautiful flowers. An excellent cook who created delicious baking. A keen angler she enjoyed fishing with her husband. A woman of great faith she actively participated in St. Stephens on the hill Church’s ministries and activities including the church’s decoration on special occasions, Joan’s priority was her family and she was happiest in their company. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her as she now dwells in the House of the Lord with her beloved John.

Funeral Service in the R.J Barnard Chapel Thursday, April 11th, 2024 at 11:30am. Interment in the family plot at the Waters Cemetery.
