WEIR, Patrick John - Peacefully passed away at Cassellholme Home for the Aged on October 27, 2012 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of June (nee Dunn). Beloved father of William (Laura) and Patrick (Susanne). Cherished grandfather of Andrew (Amanda), Melissa Metcalfe (Steven) and great-grandfather of Augest Metcalfe, James and Joseph Weir. Fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters. Predeceased by his parents William and Elizabeth (nee McCaffrey), his daughter Valerie Weir and his brother William Weir. Pat was a longtime President of Cystic Fibrosis Society. He enjoyed volunteering in the community with many different societies. As per his request cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes will occur at a later date. Donations in Pat's name to Cystic Fibrosis or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
