WEMIGWANS, Francis “Eugene“ - In loving memory of Francis “Eugene“ Wemigwans, 58 years, surrounded by his loving family after a valiant fight with Leukemia, Eugene passed away on Wednesday, June 15th, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospice, Sarnia. Beloved husband of Donna (Shawanda) Wemigwans. Loving father of Shane, Shauna, Candida Frances (Dallas), Eugene “Barry“ and Elizabeth “Lizbit“ (Shawn). Cherished “Papa Gene“ of Cyrus, Darrius, Julius and predeceased by Lily. Dear brother of Herman (Madeline), Harold “Bruno“, Hazel predeceased, Richard (Terri), Gerald “Brian“ (Patricia) and Augustin “Robert“ (Jean). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. He will be greatly missed by his canine buddy Valentine. Born in Manitowaning Ontario he was the son of the late Augustin “Gus“ and Josephine (Recollet) Wemigwans. Dedicated to his work as a Heavy Equipment Operator, working for the International Union of Operating Engineers, Eugene retired with over 30 years of service due to health restrictions. Eugene was a devoted family man and known as “Papa Gene“ to all. We are honoured to have been part of this journey with you, may you rest in peace. Resting at Our Lady of Grace Church, South Bay. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Grace Church South Bay Saturday, June 18th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the South Bay Cemetery.
