Born January 8, 1954, crossed over to be with his favourite aunt Ellen Stewart and Nancy (Cecile Pelletier Scott Somacal) on Saturday October 23rd, 2021, surrounded by family and friends. Bob was one of seven children born to Geraldine Scott and the late Victor Wierzbicki formally of Blezard Valley (Greater City of Sudbury). He is predeceased by his favorite aunt Ellen, Nanny Cecile and two brothers Victor and Jimmy. Bob keeps a special place in the heart of his mother, Geraldine. He will also be remembered by his siblings Vincent (Claire), his sisters Sharon (Harvey), Monica (Pierre) and Patrick (Joanne).
Bob lived in Toronto for most of his adult life where he found employment and lived a simple life. He loved fishing, smoking and his long hair (a confirmation of his indigenous blood).
The family would like to express a heartfelt special thanks to the team of caring doctors and staff of the Munk Center at the Toronto General Hospital. An individual mention goes out to Dr. Fan, Dr. Ghislaine and Emily Carreiro SW (MSICU). This medical team were instrumental in Bob’s care. They truly are special caring angels that offered Bob dignity, comfort, and worthiness at the end of his life on earth for that the family would be grateful forever. Glen and Vera your friendship and care of Bob was a true act of kindness and your promise to Ellen has been fulfilled.
