WILLIAMS, Edward “Ed“ - In Loving Memory of Edward “Ed“ Williams, 74 years, Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the Maison Vale Hospice, Sudbury. Loving companion to Sandy Burns. Beloved father of Lorie Ligi (husband Leonard), Debra Dupuis (husband Donald), Michelle Williams and Gerald Williams. Cherished grandfather of Kristen, David, Tammy, Angela and Makenzie. Dear son of Gerald and Minnie Williams predeceased. Dear brother of Dianne Payne. Ed was an electrician for Ontario Hydro Construction for over 30 years. He was a proud member of the Minnow Lake Lion's Club. He had a great affinity for the outdoors having spent many happy times at his camp on Fairbanks Lake. Ed was a HAM and amateur radio operator whose call sign was 9AT161. He was an avid golfer. He enjoyed music, theater and he was a strong supporter of local theater productions. He lived his Lion's Motto “We Serve“ by sponsoring a child in Latin America and volunteering for worthy causes. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humour. The light of his life will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. Funeral Service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 2 p.m. Interment in the Whitney Cemetery, Timmins.
