WING, Rollie - It is with sadness that the family announces the sudden death of Rollie, age 69 of Copper Cliff. Beloved husband of Carol (Phillips). Predeceased by his parents Cliff and Edith. Father to Jennifer Butler (husband) Mike and grandchildren Brittany and Braiden Butler. Loving brother of Sandy Hannan (husband) Bill and Dennis (wife) Cindy. Loving father in law to Jack Phillips. Rollie will be sadly missed as well by best friend Izzy his yellow lab. Rollie is survived by many nieces and nephews who will miss his family get togethers at his cottage on Lake Penage. Rollie served and retired from INCO with thirty years service and was currently employed at Cambrian Insurance as a broker. Many people will remember Rollie as an active dog trainer with the Sudbury District Kennel Club. Rollie served as a member for many years at the Masonic Lodge, he was also the chairman of Ducks Unlimited. He served as past president of the Copper Cliff Minor Hockey Association and was a well known referee in the Sudbury district. Rollie will forever be remembered for his happy, generous spirit and displayed his love for family at every opportunity. His camp on Lake Penage was his sanctuary and he was an active member in the Campers Association on the lake. The love he shared for his grandchildren made him a common sight at the dance studio and the motocross track. At Rollies request there will be no visitation. Family would like to invite friends to celebrate Rollies life on Friday August 10th at Brystons on the Park from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the NCF Cancer Center would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME.
