WINTER, Udo Herman Reiner - The family announces with sorrow his death in Sudbury, on Monday, October 24, 2011 at the age of 67 years. Son of Carl and Edith Winter (predeceased) of Dortsmund, Germany. Dear husband of Gabrielle Nault Winter. Loving stepfather to Nicole Allan (friend Gary) of Perth, Robert Lapointe (Chris) of Thunder Bay, Eddie Lapointe of Capreol, Sandy Stewart (Pete) of Thunder Bay, Jo-Anne Lapointe (friend Cindy) of Ottawa, Sherry Bulley (friend Jim) of Kingston, Tammy Polluck (friend Bill) of Perth and Donny Lapointe (Tabitha) of Kitchener. Dear younger brother to Edith Winter and Carl Heinz Winter of Dortsmund, Germany both predeceased. Remembered brother-in-law to Estelle Mathiasen (Arly), Marcel Nault (Lise), Urgel Nault (Linda), Daniel Nault (predeceased), Michel Nault (predeceased), Lionel Nault, Emmanuel Nault (Angie), Louis Nault (predeceased) and Louise Cardinal (Armand). Cherished grandfather and great-grandfather to 27 little ones. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Special friend to Pete, Pat, Joe, Louise, Wayne & Carol of Wabush, Labrador, Raymond & Lise. The family wishes to invite you to the Celebration of Udo's life to be held on Saturday November 19, 2011 at 12:00 pm. at the Capreol Legion. The family asks that you bring a can donation to be given to the Capreol food bank. The family would like to thank Dr. Knut and his staff, Dr. Smith and the Regional hospital 6th floor, South Tower Nursing Staff and the Vale Hospice Staff for all of your support throughout this time. Udo will be missed by many whose lives he has touched. He will be missed dearly by Gabby, who referred to him as her “Miserable Grumpy Old Fart“. The love shared between Gabby & Udo was pure, unselfish and inspirational and the “Dance“ will continue when they meet again. You are gone but you will never be forgotten.
