February 3, 1949 – March 12, 2024

It is with great sadness, Bryan’s family announces his passing on March 12, 2024.

Loving father to Kelly (Fabio) and Darrell (Yola). Cherished grandfather to Sasha, Alyssa, and Jacob. Bryan is also survived by his brother’s Ron (Sondra) and Allan (Christina (deceased)), and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Edward and Nelda.  Bryan was born in Sudbury and moved to Waters Twp. as a young boy. He graduated from Lo-Ellen Park Secondary school and later obtained his Electronics Instrumentation Certification from De Vry Institute of Technology.

Bryan was a hard-working and loyal employee. He worked at INCO (Vale) his entire career. He started in 1968 in the smelter and later moved to the Copper Cliff Nickel Refinery in instrumentation. He retired in 2005 in a supervisory role.

Bryan lived in Lively for many years where he built a home and started his family. He later moved to Sudbury in retirement.  In the summer he loved spending time at his camp on Lake Agnew with his children and grandchildren. From early in the morning to late in the evening you would find Bryan outside at the camp puttering around, visiting with his brother next door, or watching his grandchildren skiing and playing in the water.

Bryan was an avid sports fan (whether watching or playing) and enjoyed the outdoors. In his younger years, Bryan would hunt and fish, and had a passion for cars (a souped up 57 Chevy was particularly cherished). In retirement, he loved to spend time with his friends on the golf course.

He also spent several years volunteering his time with the Lively Kinsmen.  Bryan had a tremendous love for his family and friends. He lived his life to the fullest and will be greatly missed.

As per Bryan’s wishes there will be no funeral. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
