WULFF, Joyce (nee Thorpe) - In Loving Memory of Joyce Wulff (nee Thorpe) 85 years. Who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Wednesday, April 27th, 2011 at Pioneer Manor. Beloved wife of Arthur Wulff of Lively. Loving mother of Jo-Anne Wulff (Richard Bowes) of Ottawa, Deborah Wulff of Lively and Margo Davis (Bob) of Guelph. Cherished grandmother of Dustin, Sheldon, Aaron, Adam, Amanda, Laura, Jessie, Arthur, Tommy and Abby and great grandmother of Savannah, Sierrah, Brooklyn, Johnny, Josh, Julien and Charlotte. Dear daughter of George and Joyce (nee Hill) Thorpe both predeceased. Dear sister of Laurence (late Jeannine) and Alan (late Ray) both of Sudbury. Predeceased by her sisters Sheila Lariviere and Barbara Tiplady. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Joyce was a proud World War 11 veteran stationed in both Newfoundland and Halifax, as well as a member of the Lockerby Legion branch 564. She was an avid crafts' person creating beautiful works in embroidery, needle point, crocheting, knitting, sewing, copper enameling and was a member of the Walden quilting guild. She also loved decorating and making things for her grandchildren. She loved to play bridge and was a member of many bridge clubs through the years. Joyce enjoyed travelling abroad to different destinations and across Canada. She enjoyed summers at the cottage on the French River. Joyce had a wonderful sense of humour that she shared with all. What she cherished most was spending time with family and friends. The family is most appreciative to the Staff of Pioneer Manor Cedar South for making their mom's last weeks most comfortable and happy. There will be no public visitation but a Celebration of Joyce's life will be held at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
