In loving memory of Daphne Ann Yeomans (nee Dunsmore)

The family announces with sorrow, her passing at HSN on March 26, 2024 at the age of 88, surrounded by family. She is predeceased by her husband Ronald (2010) and by her parents Orval and Adeline Dunsmore. She is survived by her sisters Beverly Kuz (Raymond) and Marilyn Boyko of BC. She will be fondly remembered by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Loving mother of Kim Yeomans, Janice Yeomans, Margo Yeomans (Brian), Ron Jr (Louise) Yeomans, and Kendall (Lesley) Yeomans. Loving grandmother to Alicia, Kescia, Ansley, Meredith, Bryanna, and Lily. Special grandmother to Colin, Denis, and Paige.

Ann attended the former Gatchell Public School and Sudbury Mining and Technical School. She then graduated from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in 1957. She was a founding member of the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra under the direction of the late Emil First, as a violinist. She married Ron in 1957 who was her childhood friend since the age of 6. Ann attended The Gospel Chapel and in later years Glad Tidings Church for the last 40+ years and considered her friends there her spiritual family. Ann and Ron moved to the south end, built a house, and raised their family of five amidst close knit neighbours and friends. She lived there for 60 years before moving to The Walford on Walford and then transferring to Pioneer Manor. People will miss her spunk and wit along with her spiritual guidance and encouragement.
