Peel Regional Police arrest suspect in park assaults, say there may be other victims

BRAMPTON, Ont. — A Brampton, Ont., man has been arrested in connection with two separate assaults in city parks earlier this month.

Peel Regional Police say shortly before 11 a.m. on Sept. 15, a woman was grabbed while in Massey Park. 

She was able to break free and call for help, and the suspect ran into a wooded area of the park.

In the second attack, police say a woman was assaulted by a man on a bicycle in Jayfield Park on Sept. 21.

Paul Yousif, who is 19, is charged with assault, assault with a weapon and assault with bodily harm.

Investigators believe there may be more victims and are asking anyone with information to please come forward.
