BATH, Ont. — Provincial police say an inmate at Millhaven Institution has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of another prisoner.
They say Dakota Ryder, 25, was assaulted at the prison in Bath, Ont., and taken to hospital around 3 a.m. on Wednesday.
Police say he was later pronounced dead.
They say another inmate, 37-year-old Imo Atiba Lewis, is arrested and charged.
He had a video court appearance scheduled for Wednesday.
