11 people have been arrested following a search warrant executed at an area 'crack house' on May 21.

The Joint Forces Drug Unit, which consists of members of the Ontario Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Section and the Greater Sudbury Police, executed the search warrant at a residence at 433 Bessie St. in Sudbury. Police also stopped three vehicles in relation to this investigation.

The investigation is part of an ongoing enforcement initiative being conducted within the Donovan/Flour Mill areas to address a perceived increase in crime and drug related activity, a police press release stated. This investigation was initiated as a result of numerous complaints of a ‘crack house’ being operated at the residence.
 
Police seized a total of two grams of marijuana, seven grams of crack cocaine, 35 controlled prescription pills, $2,300 of Canadian currency, a sword and hunting knife and various drug paraphernalia.

The following people have been charged with various drug related offences: Suzanne Lacroix, 47, Daniel Lacroix, 54, Micheline Rainville, 41, Sean Martin, 26, Michel Gibson, 50, Isaiah Gibson, 18, Kayla Esquat, 19, Ryan Peters, 24, Heather Musson, 34, Josee Bureau, 32,  all of Sudbury and Lindon Johnson, 33, of Toronto.
